With snow on the ground and cheer in our hearts
We set up a tree. We all did our parts.
Inspired by Seuss, our house soon became
a Christmas winter land, with lights all aflame.
Carefully trimmed with red and with gold.
The perfect place to escape from the cold.
From miniature trees to snowflakes and trains
to mistletoe and reindeer our house entertains.
Like the Whos down in Whoville, we like Christmas a lot.
We wish it was Christmas more often than not.
We’ve transformed our home, it’s Seuss bona fide,
to help us celebrate this Christmas yuletide.
